HON’BLE Dr. JUSTICE K.G.SHANKAR Criminal Petition No.13056 of 2013 Order:
The petitioners seek for the quashment of First Information Report (FIR) in Crime No.236 of 2013 on the file of Keesara Police Station, Ranga Reddy District.
They allegedly committed various offences under the Indian Penal Code and also under Section 31 of Representation of People Act. The allegations against the petitioners are considerably grave. The case is at the stage of investigation. I therefore consider that it would be appropriate to permit the Police to proceed with the investigation but not to arrest the petitioners during the pendency of the investigation.
2. Consequently, this criminal petition is disposed of permitting the Police to proceed with the investigation of the case in Crime No.236 of 2013 on the file of Keesara Police Station, Ranga Reddy District but not to arrest the petitioners during the pendency of investigation.
The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
