O R D E R The petitioner is the sole accused in C.C.No.440 of 2009 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvarur. The respondent has filed a final report against the petitioner under Sections 419, 465, 471 IPC r/w 12(1)(b) of the Passport Act.

2. The learned Government Advocate has submitted that out of 8 witnesses, prosecution has already examined 4 witnesses. Therefore, the this petition may be dismissed.
3. This petition has been filed stating that the petitioner/accused is entitled for speedy disposal under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, but the respondent has deliberately protracted the proceedings and the case was not investigated by an independent agency. It is further stated that the petitioner had already surrendered his passport and also filed letter seeking apology.
4. In my considered view, the petitioner has not made out any grounds to quash the complaint. Hence, the quash petition fails and the same is dismissed.
