O R D E R:
THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO WRIT PETITION No.26586 OF 2014 Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri C.Sunil Kumar Reddy, learned standing counsel for APSRTC., appearing for the respondents.
This writ petition is filed, seeking a mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioner’s representation dated 5-9-2012 as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the husband of the petitioner died in a road traffic accident while he was working as Helper in respondents corporation. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation dated 5-9-2012 seeking compassionate appointment under bread winner scheme. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents have not taken any action on the said representation.
Sri C.Sunil Kumar Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the respondents corporation would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner shows that she sought for appointment as sweeper/office helper under bread winner scheme, but the said posts are not available in respondent corporation.
In the said circumstances, the petitioner is directed to submit appropriate representation to the respondents corporation seeking appointment for a suitable post and on such application being made, the respondents are directed to consider her case for appointment in a suitable post on compassionate grounds as per the bread winner scheme evolved by the respondents corporation, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly at the stage of admission. No order as to costs. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
