JUDGMENT / ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the prayer in the writ petition is only for the limited scope and therefore, he prays this Court to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that if the said application is not yet disposed, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
3. By considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, without going into the merits of this case, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2016, after affording opportunities to the parties concerned, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
