2. This writ petition is filed making an allegation that on the petitioner’s complaint, crime No.302/07 was registered by respondent No.3, but no steps are taken to investigate the said crime.
3. Instructions of the learned Government Pleader show that the said crime was registered on 08.11.2007 and the same was investigated and the charge sheet was filed on 02.07.2008 before X Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Malkajgiri, which is stated to be now pending as C.C.No.664 of 2008.
4. I am unable to see how petitioner can make a statement in affidavit that no investigation is taken up. Apparently, petitioner himself has not done any basic verification before filing the writ petition and making allegation that the investigation is not being carried out. Petitioner himself has woken up after seven years of filing the complaint and has straight away approached this court. It is sheer abuse of the court and is a mere waste of public time.
Hence, writ petition is dismissed with costs of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) payable to the State Legal Services Authority. If the amount is not paid within four weeks from today, the Legal Services Authority is free to recover the amount. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
