2. V.Vidhyasree [Respondents] Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records in C.C.No.137 of 2012 on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Uthangarai, Krishnagiri District and quash the same.
For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sathiaseelan For Respondents : Mr.C.Emalias, Additional Public Prosecutor for R1 Mr.G.Anantharangan for R2 O R D E R When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, a joint compromise agreement dated 07.02.2017 duly signed by the petitioner / accused and the second respondent / de facto complainant has been filed, in which it is stated that both the parties have resolved their problems and both the parties to the compromise agreement have no claim against each other out of the dispute arising in Crime No.5 of 2011 which ended in C.C.No.137 of 2012 on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Uthangarai, Krishnagiri District.
2. Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the joint compromise agreement as true and genuine.
3. The joint compromise agreement is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint compromise agreement, the proceedings in C.C.No.137 of 2012 pending on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Uthangarai, Krishnagiri District, against the petitioner, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint compromise agreement. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
