Petitioner is a retired mechanic from the Regional Workshop, Mavelikkara of the first respondent. The grievance voiced by the petitioner in this writ petition is non disbursal of pensionary benefits to the petitioner. In that regard, petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 representation, before the third respondent and the same is pending consideration on and with effect from 09.04.2002. It is in this background this writ petition is filed.
2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, there will be a direction to the competent among the respondents to take a decision on Ext.P2 representation, submitted by the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt W.P.(C)NO.22998 OF 2016 2 of a copy of this judgment. Since Ext.P2 is stated to be submitted as early as on 09.04.2002, there will also be a direction to the petitioner to produce a copy of this writ petition along with the appended documents before the competent among the respondent in order to secure the reliefs within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
