Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the record.
By means of the present petition, the petitioners herein seek for quashing of the first information report dated 12.08.2021 bearing Case Crime No.314 of 2021 under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 307 & 376 IPC and Section 3/4 D.P. Act' 1961, P.S.-
Jamunapar, District- Mathura.
The allegations in the first information report regarding commission of a cognizable offence by the petitioner are clear and from a reading thereof, it cannot be said that it does not disclose commission of a cognizable offence.
The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner herein has been falsely implicated though he has no concern with the matrimonial dispute between the complainant and her in-laws, is not worthy of acceptance from a careful reading of the FIR and further from a perusal of the statement of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C., wherein she had supported her version in the FIR.
For the aforesaid, no interference can be made. Any interference at this stage may impede the process of speedy investigation.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed being devoid of merits.
