JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is accused, in Crime No.674 of 2014 of the Ernakulam Central Police Station for the offences punishable under Secs.324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code, apprehends arrest and has filed this application.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application.
It is submitted that on 05.01.2014 at about 9.30a.m while the de facto complainant, a student of the Maharajas College, Ernakulam, was proceeding to his class and reached near the department of Politics, the petitioner assaulted him and another with sword stick. It is submitted that the petitioner is also involved in Crime No.56 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Secs.143, 147, 148, 323 and 324 r/w Sec.149 of the Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel submits that the allegations against the petitioner are not true. Petitioner is falsely implicated due to political rivalry. It is also submitted that the opponents had assaulted the petitioner on 10.01.2014, he sustained injuries and underwent treatment. The police at no point of time has proceeded against the petitioner.

4. In the nature of the allegations made against the petitioner and the investigation required to be done, request for pre-arrest bail cannot be allowed.
The application is therefore dismissed.
