The writ petition has been filed for issue of mandamus directing New Okhla Industrial Development Authority(respondent-2) to extend benefit of 'Zero Period' upto 17.08.2017. It has been stated in the writ petition that New Okhla Industrial Development Authority(respondent-2) allotted Sports City Plot No.2, to the petitioner on lease for a period of 90 years. However, on the date of execution of lease deed dated 19.12.2014, 7.4.2015, 11.5.2015, 20.11.2015 physical possession of the allotted plot was not delivered according to the period as mentioned in the allotment orders. In such circumstances the petitioner is entitled for 'Zero Period Policy' benefit.
The petitioner has already moved a representation before the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority(respondent-2), which is pending.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to New Okhla Industrial Development Authority(respondent-2) to examine the representation of the petitioner and after hearing it in accordance with law pass a suitable order within one month from the date of production of a certified copy before the said Authority.
Till the disposal of the representation of the petitioner, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
