Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the decision of the D.P.C. on the post of Deputy Director, Agriculture has been kept in sealed cover. Further submission is that the departmental proceeding initiated against the petitioner has been concluded and the petitioner has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him.
In view of above, we dispose of the writ petition with the direction to the Principal Secretary, Agriculture Civil Secretariate, U.P. Lucknow to look into the matter with regard to opening of the sealed cover in regard to promotion of the petitioner and take a decision by passing speaking and reasoned order in accordance to law within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The respondents shall also take a decision with regard to payment of salary for the period during which the petitioner was placed under suspension. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the petitioner.
Subject to above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
