The petitioner's husband met with a road accident while working as a Sub Engineer in the KSEB Divisional Office and he died as the result of injuries sustained in the accident. Petitioner submits that her husband was a member of the Group Personnel Accident Insurance Scheme. The petitioner raised a claim before the 2nd respondent. This was rejected. Thereafter the petitioner filed an appeal before the 1st respondent as per Ext.P1. In view of Ext.P1 appeal pending before the 1st respondent, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
