Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The submission is that no effort for conciliation has been made by the permanent Lok Adalat. It has illegally entered into the controversy . The question is of jurisdiction the permanent Lok Adalat to decide the claim petition of respondent no.1.In the impugned award permanent Lok Adalat has wrongly interpreted terms of the insurance policy. Moreover respondent no.1 has a remedy to approach the Ombudsman under the Redressal of Public Grievances Rules, 1998.
The matter requires consideration.
Shri Sanjeev Kumar Singh has put in appearance on behalf of respondents. He prays for and is granted two weeks' time to file counter affidavit.
One week thereafter for filing rejoinder affidavit.
