Petitioners are accused in CC 169/2012 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court I, Kanjirappally. They are alleged to have committed offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 294 (b), 323, 324, 354 and 427 read with Section 149 I.P.C.
2. This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in the Criminal Case on the ground that the Criminal Case and the Counter case have been settled.
3. Heard.
4. Respondents 2 to 10 are the victims. They have entered appearance through a counsel and filed affidavits to the effect that this case and the counter case have been settled and the Criminal Case against the petitioners need not be proceeded with.
5. Having regard to the nature of the allegations, I am satisfied that it is only proper that the proceedings in the

Criminal Case are quashed.
In the result, this Criminal M.C. is allowed and the proceedings in CC 169/2012 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court -I are quashed.
If any material objects have been produced before the Magistrate, the learned Magistrate may dispose them of in accordance with law.
