JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.
2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to issue the birth certificate of his daughter in the name of H.Santhiya as per his representation dated 31.07.2017. K.RAVICHANDRABAABU,J.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the name of her daughter in the birth certificate was wrongly mentioned as H.Saranya instead of H.Santhiya. It is also stated by the petitioner that already the petitioner made a Gazettee publication declaring the name of his daughter as H.Santhiya on 18.08.2010. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 31.07.2017 before the respondent seeking for correction of the name in the birth certificate. It is stated that the said representation has not been considered so far. Therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and issue necessary orders without loss of further time. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
