The petitioner has filed this revision petition seeking for a direction to the First Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of O.P.No.1232 of 2013 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she was married to the first respondent on 29.01.2004. At the time of marriage, she was given cash and jewels. The petitioner-wife filed I.D.O.P.No.4223 of 2010 before the First Additional Family Court, Chennai, against the first respondent-husband seeking divorce and the same was decreed on 17.06.2011. Thereafter, the petitioner-wife filed M.C.No.353 of 2011, which is pending. The petitioner-wife filed O.P.No.1232 of 2013 against the respondents seeking for direction to the first respondent-husband to return the jewels and cash. Though the first respondent-husband offered to settle the matter, but the said O.P. is pending adjudication. It is further stated that the first respondent-husband has pledged the jewels with the second respondent. It is further stated that the respondents have filed counter affidavit in the said O.P. and the same is ripe for trial. It is the grievance of the petitioner that her parents are aged and unwell and hence, she could not appear before the Family Court frequently. Hence, she has filed this Civil Revision Petition for the relief stated supra.

Taking into consideration the above said grievances of the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that the said O.P. is pending from 2013 and as the husband has earlier come forward to settle the matter, this Court directs the First Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the said O.P.No.1232 of 2013 before 30.04.2017.
4. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
