JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner was concerned with the non disbursal of the amounts covered by Fixed Deposit receipts, Exts.P1, P2 and P3. Ext.P1 is in the name of the daughter of the petitioner, Ext.P2 in the name of the petitioner and Ext.P3 in the name of the son of the petitioner. Admittedly, the petitioner has received the amounts due as per Ext.P2. The learned counsel appearing for the Bank submits that the amounts due under Ext.P1 have also been paid on 04.11.2014. The son of the petitioner, who has made the deposit as per Ext.P3, is a major and he would have to initiate proceedings for recovery of the said amounts. In such circumstances, the writ petition is closed leaving open the contentions of the son of the petitioner. WP(C).14787/13 2 The writ petition is disposed of, leaving the parties to suffer their respective costs.
