1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Corporation.
2. It is grievance of the petitioner that he was appointed as a Booking Clerk in the Corporation in 1988 and has been continuing in service since then. He has been given his first promotional Scale in 1998. But he has not been given the benefit of second and third ACP which are admissible on completion of sixteen and twenty six years of service as per the relevant Government Orders. He has made representation to the Regional Manager on 09.06.2018. A copy of the said representation has been filed as Annexure - 3 to the writ petition. The representation is lying undisposed off. Therefore, he has been forced to approach this Court.
3. This writ petition is disposed off without entering into the merit of the controversy with a direction to the respondent No. 2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated 09.06.2018 and place the matter of the petitioner before the Selection Committee in its next meeting for approval of the ACP if admissible to the petitioner as early as this order is produced before the authority concerned.
