Heard Sri Saurabh Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Prakhar Srivastava, learned counsel holding brief of Sri Tarun Agarawal, learned counsel for respondent No. 2 and Sri Sudhanshu Srivastava, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State.
Sri Saurabh Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the election result.
Sri Sudhanshu Srivastava, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of approaching election tribunal.
Faced with this Sri Saurabh Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the relief sought in the writ petition. He recasts his prayer and seeks leave to approach the Election Tribunal in accordance with law.
It is open to the petitioner to seek remedies in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of.
