JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 9
Case :- WRIT - B No. - 5836 of 2018 Petitioner :- Laxmi Chand Respondent :- Deputy Director Of Consolidation, Muzaffar Nagar And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ramesh Chandra Srivastava,Priyavrat Tripathi Counsel for Respondent :- CSC
Hon'ble Anjani Kumar Mishra,J.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order passed by the Consolidation Officer.
It is submitted that the Consolidation Officer has reviewed his order passed earlier, after a lapse of three years, the Consolidation Officer does not possess any power of review.
Be that as it may, this Court does not see any justification to entertain a writ petition against an order passed by the Consolidation Officer because the petitioner has a statutory alternative remedy by means of an appeal before the Settlement Officer Consolidation followed by a revision before the Deputy Director of Consolidation, which statutory alternative remedies have not been availed.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of statutory alternative remedies.
