When the matter was called on 03.07.2010, in view of the absence of any representation on behalf of the petitioners herein, this Court directed the matter to be listed under the caption ‘for dismissal’ today and when the matter was called in the pre-lunch session there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners, as such, this Court passed over the matter. When the matter is now taken up in the post- lunch session, there is no appearance for the petitioners. Therefore, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non- prosecution.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
