For Petitioner : Mr.T.K.M.Saikrishnan For Respondent : Mr.C.Emalias, APP ORDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in FIR No.47 of 2015 and file a final report before the jurisdictional court within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that she has lodged a complaint dated 23.05.2012 against one Meenakshi Sundaram and others before the Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore, who, in turn, forwarded the same to the respondent herein. The said complaint was registered as FIR in Crime No.47 of 2015 for the offences punishable under sections 120(B), 419, 465, 468, 471, 420 and 506(i) IPC, as per the direction of this Court dated 06.05.2015 made in Crl.O.P.No.11521 of 2015, which was filed by the petitioner. Thereafter, no progress was made in the said FIR. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.47/2015 pending on his file and file a final report, if not filed earlier, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
