This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 1st respondent to release the sale deed after due registration pending in document No.17/2009 consequentially direct the 1st respondent to hand over the sale deed to the petitioner herein within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner purchased the property in S.No.350/5, situated at Kottaiyur Village in Kumbakonam and the sale deed was presented before the first respondent for registration. But the first respondent refused either to register or release the deed, on the ground of pendency of the disputes in O.S.No.188 of 2007 and CRP.No.857 of 2008. Hence the petitioner is before this Court.
5.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instruction, submitted that the sale deed was not registered, due the pendency of the cases, which according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, were already disposed of and still retaining the deed is amounting to illegality.
6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, directs first respondent to release the sale deed registered in the name of the petitioner, if there is no other impediment or appeal suits are pending, in respect of the property in dispute, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
