Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the issue raised in this petition stands concluded in favour of the petitioners in light of the decision rendered in Devki Nandan & 17 Others Vs. State of U.P. & 3 Others, Writ A No. 54923 of 2017, decided on 28th May, 2018.
Consequently and following the decision rendered in Devki Nandan (supra), this petition shall stand allowed on same terms.
The respondents shall proceed to evaluate the claims of the petitioners afresh and in light of the principles enunciated in Devki Nandan (supra). This exercise of consideration shall be endeavoured to be concluded with expedition from the date of filing of the representation, along with copy of this order.
