This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing with direction to expedite the proceedings of mutation case No. 317 of 2008 (Smt. Lalmani vs. Khurchun) pending before respondent no. 1 Tehsildar, Tehsil-Phoolpur, District-Azamgarh to decide the case within a stipulated period as may fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
It has been stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2008, which has not been disposed of till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1 Tehsildar, Tehsil-Phoolpur, District-Azamgarh to decide the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
