1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:
“(a) to issue a writ order or directions in the nature of writ of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 2 & 3 to get the services of the petitioner on the post of Chowkidar confirmed and regularised and to faciliate him to get all benefits and convenience permissible under the law.
(b) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the concerned respondents to make payment of outstanding salary from February 2000 uptill now and onwards and not to terminate the petitioner from his services and premises of the college and not to appoint the respondent no. 4 in the place of petitioner, otherwise petitioner shall suffer a great loss.
(c) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no. 1 to 3 to decide and dispose of the representations of petitioner pending before them with reasons and speaking orders to secured the ends of justice.”
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
