… Respondents These Writ Petitions are filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the Respondent Nos.1, 3, 4 and 5 to produce Sri Mithun Poojary S/o Sri Narayana Poojary, Devasya House, Golthamajlu Village, Bantwal Taluk, presently detained as under-trial prisoner in Central Jail, Parappana Agrahara in U.T.P. No.477/2018 before this Hon’ble Court and also to direct the said respondents to arrange for immediate treatment and appropriate enquiry regarding custodial torture, harassment and humiliation caused to said Mithun and to direct the Respondent No.2 to hold an appropriate proceedings in accordance with law against officers/officials inside the Jail, who have given custodial torture ill-treatment to the said prisoner, and etc.
These Writ Petitions coming on for orders this day, the Court made the following:-
O R D E R Mr.Aruna Shyam M., learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the writ petitions.
Accordingly, the writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn.
