The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the order dated 20.10.2020 passed in Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No.1133 of 2020 (Lal Chand Yadav Vs. State of U.P. & 6 Others).
Today when the matter was taken up, instructions received from the office of the opposite party dated 25.10.2021 was placed before this Court, the same is taken on record. It is stated in the aforesaid instructions that that the order passed by the writ court has already been complied with on 22.10.2021, therefore, no further orders are required to be passed.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
