In terms of order dated 13.11.2017 in Writ-C No. 53179 of 2017, the S.D.M. Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur was required to investigate into the claim of the applicant within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
Sri P.K. Giri, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, on instructions from opposite party, states that a decision was taken by him on 6/10.09.2018 in compliance of the direction issued by the Writ Court. A copy of the said order has also been placed before this Court for perusal.
Having regard to the above decision, this Court is not inclined to proceed further in the instant matter.
The contempt application is disposed of accordingly with liberty to the applicant to challenge the decision in appropriate proceedings, if he feels aggrieved thereby.
