. Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not providing proper and adequate Resettlement and Rehabilitation procedure as prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.68 Irrigation and Ayacut Development (Project Wing A-II R & R) Department dated 8-4-2005 as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to provide Rehabilitation Colony at Edurawada Revenue S.No.1 instead of Dibbapalem Village to the petitioners herein under resettlement and rehabilitation policy under G.O.Ms.No.68 dated 8-4-2005.
The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri V.V.N. Narayana Rao, Advocate for the Petitioners, G.P. for Revenue for Respondent Nos.1, 3 to 6 and Sri P. Roy Reddy, Standing Counsel for Respondent No.2, the Court made the following ORDER:
Learned standing counsel has drawn the attention of the Court to the latest material received by him on the subject matter of the writ petition. The standing counsel is directed to place the material he intends to rely upon by way of additional affidavit by the next date of hearing.
