Lalaji vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|19 January, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Learned APP Ms.Calla submits, on instructions, that the competent authority granted furlough leave to the present applicant but as the co-accused was absconding the order was kept in abeyance and now the order will not remain in existence as two months time has passed.
Considering this fact and circumstances of the case, the jail authority is directed to give necessary instructions to the applicant for preferring fresh application for furlough as his furlough is already due and if such application is preferred by the convict prisoner, then the concerned authority will decide the same in accordance with law as early as possible.
With the above direction, this application stands disposed of.
