Lala Ram vs State Of U P And Others

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|29 March, 2018
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 6
Case :- WRIT - C No. - 11484 of 2018 Petitioner :- Lala Ram Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Sanjeev Kumar Saxena Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble B. Amit Sthalekar,J.
Heard Sri Sanjeev Kumar Saxena, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-Respondents no1 to 4.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondents to hold an enquiry within a stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has preferred a complaint before the District Magistrate, District Hamirpur through his letter dated 29.01.2018 (Annexure-5 to the writ petition).
However, this complaint is not supported by any affidavit. Counsel for the petitioner is not able to tell the Court under which Rules enquiry can be held against a Pradhan. This is a pathetic situation where the counsel appears before the Court but does not even know the Rule or Procedure under which the enquiry can be held against a Gram Pradhan.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
