The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 12.9.2018 passed by the respondent no.2 Consolidation Officer, Chitbadagaon, District- Ballia in Case in 561/562 filed under Section 9-A (2) of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act,1953 ('in short 'Act') as well as for writ of mandamus commanding the respondent no.1 Deputy Director of Consolidation to decide the Revision No. 777/934 filed under Section 48(1) of the Act which remain pending. The order passed by the Consolidation Officer dated 12.9.2018 is impugned in the revision and therefore, the same cannot be challenged before this in writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution.
So far as the second prayer is concerned, the Deputy Director of Consolidation is directed to decide the Revision No. 777/934 filed under Section 48(1) of the Act as well as the application filed by the petitioners for extension of interim order in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of the six months from the date of production of the certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of.
