1. Heard Sri Bipin Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner; Sri Sunil Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing for the Gaon Sabha and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
2. Solitary grievance of the petitioner appears to be that his Case No. T202002030403423 (Gulab Chandra & Ors. Vs. Lal Chandra & Anr.), filed under Section 116 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, before respondent no.2-Sub- Divisional Officer, Tehsil-Handia, Disrict-Prayagraj, has remained pending since 03.04.2018.
3. Without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2-Sub-Divisional Officer, Tehsil-Handia, Disrict-Prayagraj, to decide the aforesaid case, as expeditiously as possible, strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment provided the petitioner does not seek any adjournment during that period and cooperates in the proceedings.
