1. This writ petition has been filed with a limited prayer to issue a direction to the Respondent No. 2 to decide the Appeal No. 16 of 2018 : Lal Chand Versus District Supply Officer, Mirzapur filed by the petitioner against the order dated 16.12.2017 passed by the Respondent No. 3.
2. The Appeal is said to have been filed on 31.01.2018 along with Stay Application.
3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of without entering into the merits of the controversy with a direction to the Appellate Authority to decide Stay Application within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him. The Appellate Authority shall make an efort thereafter to decide the Appeal itself within a prescribed period of 60 days as given in para - 13 (1) of the U.P. Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Order, 2016.
