ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…to issue writ or direction preferably writ of mandamus declaring that the petitioner is entitled to continue as President, Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) Bethampudi (v) Tekulapally (M) Khammam District notwithstanding his Election as ZPTC member and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue to discharge his duties as President PACS Bethampudi, Tekulapally (M) of Khammam District and pass such other or further orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”
Mr. Kowturu Vinaya Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, addressed letter dated 17.08.2014 to the Registry, informing that he has instructions from his client to withdraw the writ petition as he is not intending to pursue the same.
At the hearing, Mr. M. Siddartha, learned counsel representing Mr. Kowturu Vinaya Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, reiterated the said request.
In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.19879 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
