1. The present application has been preferred by the applicant-convict for releasing him on temporary bail on the ground that he wants to perform the post-death ceremony of his father.
2. Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this court, report has been submitted by the learned APP and as per the said report, the ground appears to be genuine. However, it is been stated that the "barma" ceremony is over.
3. The jail record shows that on earlier occasion when he was released on furlough, he has surrendered in time.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the applicant-convict is ordered to be released on temporary bail for a period of 10 days from the date of his actual release on his executing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- before the jail authority and with further direction that upon expiry of the bail period, he shall surrender to the jail authority.
5. The application is allowed to the aforesaid extent. Rule is made absolute accordingly.
