JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to conduct "Adal Padal Kalai Nigazhchi" scheduled to be held on 10.09.2017 on the eve of Sri http://www.judis.nic.in MuthuMariamman Temple festival situated at Uppukara Street, Mannargudi Town, Thiruvarur District, based on his representation dated 04.09.2017.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the respondent on 04.09.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 10.09.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today.
4. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017, in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of the same.
5. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 09.09.2017.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
