JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to speed up the enquiry and proceed further in accordance with law, pursuant to the petitioner's complaint dated 02.11.2015.
2. The matter relates to a property dispute. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made a complaint on 02.11.2015 to the first respondent against the persons who, by way of producing fabricated documents, have grabbed the property of the petitioner. The said complaint was forwarded to the second respondent and pursuant to the enquiry made by the second respondent, the accused persons have agreed to return the grabbed lands to the petitioner. Since they did not return the lands, the petitioner approached the District Registrar, Krishnagiri and finally the first respondent to direct the second respondent to speed up the enquiry and proceed further in accordance with law. Since no action has been taken for the past 13 months, the petitioner is before this Court with this Criminal Original Petition.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents and submits that there is no FIR pending and only a mere enquiry was conducted and the matter was closed on 19.11.2016.
4. Recording the above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
