This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside the proceeding in Ref.B/5344/2014, dated 25-09-2014, issued by respondent No.2.
By the aforesaid proceeding, respondent No.2 has suspended the petitioner’s authorization in respect of fair price shop No.27, V.Rajupalem Village of Chapadu Mandal, on the basis of certain allegations, which include the one relating to variation of 2 quintals of PDS rice between the sales register and the ground stock. Though allegation Nos.2 to 5 were not significant enough to warrant suspension, as the alleged variation of PDS rice is in excess of the permissible limit, I am not inclined to interfere with the impugned order at this stage. Instead, respondent No.2 is directed to complete the enquiry and pass a final order within two months from the date of receipt of this order.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.39089 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
