THESE C.C.C. COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, B.S.PATIL J., DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Heard the learned counsel for both parties. Perused the counter affidavit filed by the Tahsildar – K.R.Pet Taluk, Mandya District.
2. We find from the counter affidavit filed that steps have been taken for conducting durasti operation in respect of the lands in question. As regards revenue entries to be effected in the relevant revenue records. The Tahsildar has stated in the counter affidavit that within four (4) weeks from 23.10.2017 action would be taken for effecting entries in the revenue records. He has also expressed unconditional apology for the delay in considering the request of the respondent.
In the light of affidavit filed and the assurance given to the Court to complete the exercise by incorporating the names of the complainants in the revenue records within four (4) weeks, this contempt proceeding is dropped.
