ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside proceedings in D.Dis.No.K5/795/2014, dated 18.12.2014, of respondent No.2.
At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed that against the impugned order, his client has a right of appeal under G.O.Ms.No.35, Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CS-I) Department, dated 17.09.2007.
In view of the availability of alternative remedy of appeal, I am not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition for adjudication on merits.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed and the petitioner is left free to file an appeal.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.49501 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is dismissed as infructuous.
