Notice to respondents 1 to 5 is dispensed with preserving their right to seek re-hearing of the matter, if they are aggrieved by the directions contained herein. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 6 and 7.
2. The petitioner submits that he and members of his family are threatened with injuries to life and property. Respondents 6 and 7 will ensure that any commission or attempt to commit any cognizable offence is appropriately taken care of and any request for protection to life is also WPC 26115/2014 2 addressed in accordance with law. Respondents 6 and 7 will also ensure that law and order is enforced appropriately in accordance with law on usual terms.
The writ petition is ordered accordingly.
