JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner is the first accused in Crime No.757/2011 of Thalassery Police Station, Kannur District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 468, 471 and 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that while he was working as a temporary employee at the Fisheries Inspector Office, Thalassery, he falsely forged a salary certificate in order to furnish it as security for availing a loan, and by making use of such a forged salary certificate as genuine, he availed a loan from the Ex- Service Men, Multi Purpose Co-operative Society.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the C.D. The contents of B.A.6768 of 2014 2 the C.D. Prima facie reveal the complicity of the petitioner. The allegations against the petitioner are very grave and serious. Considering the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner, and the present stage of investigation, I am satisfied that the petitioner is not entitled to the discretionary relief of anticipatory bail.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed. If so advised, the petitioner may surrender before the investigating officer within five days from today, and co-operate with the investigation. In such case, after interrogation, without delay, he shall be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate, and in such case, if advance notice is served on the Assistant Public Prosecutor in charge of the case, the learned Magistrate shall dispose of the application, if any filed, preferably on the same day itself.
