JUDGMENT / ORDER

Challenging Exts. P1 and P1(a) Orders passed by the 1st respondent finalising the assessment, the petitioner filed an appeal before the concerned appellate authority which did not turn to be fruitful as borne by Exts. P2 and P2(a) dated 7.5.2012. Met with the situation, the petitioner approached the 2nd respondent Tribunal by Exts.P3 and P3(a) appeals. After considering the Interlocutory Application for stay, Ext.P4 Order was passed on 3.8.2012 and the petitioner was enjoying the benefit of interim stay as aforesaid. In the meanwhile, because of the default on the part of the petitioner, the appeals came to be dismissed as per Exts.P5 and P5(a) Orders dated 23.09.2014. Immediately on coming across the said instance, the petitioner filed Exts.P6 and P6(a) petitions seeking to restore the appeals, but the said petitions are still pending consideration. At the same time, the petitioner is confronted with Revenue Recovery proceedings which made the petitioner approach this Court by W.P.(C) No. 33972/2014 -2-
filing the present Writ Petition.
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
3. After hearing both the sides, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on Exts.P6 and P6(a) petitions in accordance with law at the earliest, at any rate within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Coercive proceedings, if any, shall be kept in abeyance till such time.
Writ Petition is disposed of. Petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the Writ Petition before the concerned respondent for further steps.
