The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection on the allegation that 3rd respondent and his henchmen are threatening the petitioner and his family members. The 3rd respondent apparently believed that the petitioner was involved in giving information regarding a case against the 3rd respondent as offence No.8/2013 of Nilambur Forest Station. An interim order has been passed by this Court on 10.12.2013.
2. Learned Government Pleader submits that thereafter nothing has happened in the matter and no complaint has been received alleging threat from the party respondent. In such circumstances, we do not think that any further orders are necessary in the matter. The Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
