JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner herein is the husband of the respondent. He is the respondent in two proceedings brought by his wife. One is O.P No.370/2014 before the Family Court, Iringalakkuda, and the other is M.C No.152/2014 before the Family Court, Ernakulam. The petitioner is a resident of Perinjanam in Thrissur District and his wife, the respondent herein, is the resident of Edappally in Ernakulam District. The husband has brought this petition for transfer of M.C No.152/2014 from the Family Court, Ernakulam to the Family Court, Iringalakkuda.
2. The respondent is absent inspite of notice.
There is reason to believe that transfer of the proceedings as requested by her husband will not cause any hardship or prejudice to her. She has brought one proceeding against her husband in the Family Court, Iringalakkuda and the other in the Family Court, Ernakulam. Having already initiated a proceeding in the Family Court, Iringalakkuda, she will not find it difficult to Tr.P (Crl) No. 77 of 2014 2 attend the said court when the proceeding in the Family Court, Thrissur is transferred as requested by her husband. I find that the request can be allowed, and transfer as requested will not cause any inconvenience or hardship to the respondent.
In the result, this Transfer Petition is allowed. M.C. No.152/2014 of the Family Court, Ernakulam is ordered to be transferred to the Family Court, Iringalakkuda where O.P No.370/2014 brought by the respondent herein is pending. The learned Judge of the Family Court, Ernakulam will transmit the records of M.C No.152/2014 to the Family Court, Iringalakkuda, without any delay.
