JUDGMENT / ORDER

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.344/2014 of Marayamuttam Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram district, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 468, 471, 419 and 420 IPC.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that on 20.12.2013, the petitioner had withdrawn an amount of ₹3,700/- from the bank account of the de facto complainant at the Indian Overseas Bank by forging documents and forging the signature. The said amount came to the bank account of the de facto complainant as remuneration from the National Rural Employment Guarantee Program.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor and perused the CD.
BA.7390/2014 : 2 :
5. The contents of the CD prima facie reveal the complicity of the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is a Panchayat member, who had done the said mischief. It seems that false documents were forged and the said amount was withdrawn from the account of the de facto complainant. The allegations against the petitioner are very grave and serious. The investigation of this case is not over. Considering the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner and the present stage of investigation, I am of the view that this is not a fit case wherein anticipatory bail can be granted to the petitioner.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
