Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the court below to decide Mutation Case No. T201702323083240 under Section 35 of U.P. Revenue Code-2006, Kusum Singh Vs. Vijay Shankar and others pending in the Court of Tehsildar, Meja, Prayagraj within a stipulated period.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2, the Tehsildar, Tehsil Meja, Prayagraj to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of nine months, provided there is no other legal impediment and provided that the functioning of the Court is not affected due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, present petition is finally disposed of.
