Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents 4, 5 and 6; and perused the record.
The prayer made in this petition is to issue a direction upon the respondent no. 6 (Commissioner Agra Division, Agra) to decide Appeal No. C02188 of 2020 under Rule 121(1)(C) of the Explosives Rules, 2008, within a stipulated period.
Considering the nature of the relief sought, we deem it appropriate to dispose off this petition by providing that respondent no.6 shall endeavour to decide the aforesaid Appeal expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of copy of this order.
